Delete your account

1. How to ask

Email abartolotta@brightpathwayacademy.com from the email address on the account, with the subject Delete my Bright Pathway account. Tell us the name on the account. You do not need to give a reason.

We reply within two business days to confirm we have your request, and complete the deletion within 30 days. We will never ask you for your password.

If the account belongs to a student under 18, a parent or guardian can make the request instead, just say which student it is for.

2. What gets deleted

Everything we hold that is tied to your account:

• Your login: email address and password credentials.
• Your profile: name, email, grade, expected graduation year, and parent email.
• Your enrollment record: which workbooks and materials your account had access to, and when.
• Your questionnaire answers and the pathway results generated from them.

Deleted means deleted, not hidden: the rows are removed, and they fall out of our backups as those backups age out, within 30 days.

3. What we keep, and why

If you paid us, we keep the record of the purchase itself, what was bought, when, and for how much. We are required to hold that for tax and accounting purposes, and we cannot delete it on request. It is a billing record; it is not your coursework, your answers, or your login.

Anything you sent us by email stays in our mailbox under our normal email retention, the same as any other correspondence.

4. Deleting the app is not the same thing

Removing the Bright Pathway app from your phone signs you out and removes it from that device, but it does not delete your account or the data above. To delete the account, email us using the button at the top of this page.

5. Questions

If you would rather ask a question before deciding, email abartolotta@brightpathwayacademy.com, a request to delete is not final until we act on it, and you can change your mind before then.
